We're looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Brewer to join our production team. If you take pride in crafting exceptional beer, enjoy working in a hands-on environment and thrive in a fast-paced craft brewery, we'd love to hear from you.

As one of our Brewers, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality beer from grain to glass while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and consistency.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute all aspects of the brewing process, including: milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, fermentation, conditioning, filtration, carbonation, and packaging.

  • Follow brewing recipes and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality.

  • Monitor fermentation, yeast health, gravity, pH, and other quality metrics.

  • Perform cellar operations including dry hopping, transfers, tank cleaning, yeast harvesting, and beer preparation.

  • Assist with packaging operations, including canning, kegging, labeling, and quality inspections.

  • Maintain accurate production, inventory, and quality control records.

  • Clean and sanitize brewing and packaging equipment in accordance with brewery standards.

  • Conduct routine maintenance and identify equipment issues before they become production concerns.

  • Receive and organize raw materials, ingredients, and packaging supplies.

  • Work closely with the production team to maintain brewing schedules and production targets.

  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and brewery policies.

  • Participate in recipe development, pilot batches, and continuous improvement initiatives as opportunities arise.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous brewing experience in a commercial brewery (2+ years preferred).

  • Brewing education or certification an asset.

  • Strong understanding of brewing science, fermentation, sanitation, and quality assurance.

  • Experience operating commercial brewing and cellar equipment.

  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are an asset.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Valid driver's license is an asset.

  • Forklift driver’s license is an asset.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 55 lbs.

  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs and ladders, and working in wet or hot environments.

  • Ability to safely handle chemicals used for brewery cleaning and sanitation.

  • Flexible to work occasional evenings or weekends when production schedules require.

 

LOCATION: Windsor, Ontario

JOB TYPE: Full-Time; Monday through Friday
